On a continuous production line, cold-rolled strip steel and galvanized strip steel (electrogalvanizing and hot-dip galvanizing) are used as substrates. After surface pre-treatment (degreasing and chemical treatment), a layer or multiple layers of liquid coating are applied using a roller coating method, and the coated steel plate is obtained by baking and cooling. Due to the fact that coatings can come in various colors, it is customary to refer to coated steel plates as colored coated steel plates.
Color coated steel plate is a product made from cold-rolled and galvanized steel plates, which undergo surface pretreatment (degreasing, cleaning, chemical conversion treatment), continuous coating (roller coating method), baking, and cooling. The main production process of the common two coating and two drying type continuous color coating unit is: uncoiling → pre-treatment → coating → baking → post treatment → coiling.
